A poem from a happy customer!
A happy customer wrote this rhyme after she and her husband purchased a mobile home from Caravans in the Sun. They went on an accompanied viewing trip to the Vendée – having chosen that area of France because it was easily accessible from St. Malo, Cherbourg and Caen ferry ports.
The cost of the viewing trip (up to £99 per person) is refunded by Caravans in the Sun when a sale is agreed. It turned out the park in the Vendée was the perfect choice ,as it is open 12 months a year, is a mere 20 minutes’ drive from the coast and is in an area which enjoys 2,600 hours of sunshine each year.
We read all the website and discovered with glee
That our 2 days viewing could end up free
If we liked what we saw and decided to buy
So – with little to lose, we gave it a try!With two other couples we travelled from Stoke
In the eight-seater Chrysler we were happy folk
One other couple came also to view,
The driver was married – so he brought his wife too!We boarded the ferry at Portsmouth (down South)
The weather was gloomy – we weren’t down in the mouth
‘Cos we ate a good meal, had a noggin or two,
Then snuggled down in en suite cabins with loos!After breakfast on board we were driven through France
From St Malo to Vendée we could see with a glance
That the driving was easy, the roads flat and clear,
Less stress than UK – there was nothing to fear.At the Park we were welcomed and shown all around
We saw mobiles to choose from and a lot of new ground
Marked out into plots with red stripey tape
So we chose one and bought in the Land of the Crèpe.We returned to St Malo, the ferry , then home
We looked at each other – just what had we done?!
But the process proved painless and by that same Spring
Our mobile was ready – we had key on key ring.We never regretted our decision to buy,
Met new friends, had fun, found new things to try,
We can but say thanks to Caravans in the Sun
For us they are simply Numéro Un!
