1. Trip to Acebron Palace
Don’t miss a trip to the stunning Acebron Palace. The imposing building itself houses a museum while the breathtaking view over the Donana Forest and National Park from the rooftop is outstanding.
2. Tour around Donana National Park on an organised safari
Experience Seville’s wild side with a safari to see some of the most iconic animals in Europe, including the lynx. Spotting red deer, wild boar and flamingoes makes for a great day out.

4. Day trip to Seville
El Rocio is situated about halfway between Huelva and Seville, the capital of Andalusia. Don’t miss a visit to Seville’s trio of architectural treasures – the grandiose and magnificent cathedral, with its spire that was once a minaret, the Alcazar Palace, which is the official residence of the kings of Spain, and the stunning Giralda, once the tallest building in the world. Finish with a visit to the gorgeous Plaza de España and take a ride on the canals that earned this area the nickname the Venice of Seville.

8. Take a walk through the national forest to a wild beach
If your idea of heaven is an uninhabited stretch of white sand then Playa Cuesta de Maneli is the destination for you. This dog-friendly beach can only be reached on foot and it’s a paradise for nature lovers.
9. Spend the afternoon eating tapas and drinking wine in the square beneath the beautiful church, overlooking the lake in El Rocio
